FAQ – price list and scrap buying
Where can I find the current scrap purchasing price list?
We publish the current purchasing price list on the “What we buy” page – you will find wholesale rates for copper, brass and other non-ferrous metals. Retail prices for smaller quantities are agreed individually by phone. The price list is indicative and may change with market quotations.
What grades of copper do you purchase in Poznan?
We purchase copper in many grades: Milberry, Bright, Piece, Mixed, Painted, Furnace, Coils and Cable. We also accept cast brass and copper from radiators. Each grade is priced separately according to material cleanliness and current market rates.
How do contaminants affect the purchasing price?
The degree of contamination directly affects the price – the cleaner the copper or brass, the higher the purchasing rate. Parts with plastics, insulation, paint or other impurities reduce the value of the batch. Before visiting our purchasing point in Poznan, it is worth cleaning the material of foreign substances where possible.
How is payment for scrap made?
Settlement is carried out on our on-site truck scale – transparently, with no hidden deductions. Payment is made immediately in cash or by bank transfer, depending on agreement with the customer. Private customers receive quick settlement after weighing; businesses receive full BDO documentation as required by law.
Do you purchase small amounts of scrap from private individuals?
Yes, we accept materials from both private individuals and businesses – regardless of batch size. Smaller quantities of non-ferrous metals can be delivered directly to our purchasing point at Górecka 6 in Poznan. For larger quantities we also offer collection with our own transport.
Do you purchase returnable glass beer and cola bottles?
Yes – we purchase returnable glass bottles from beer and carbonated drinks, including cola. Valuation depends on quantity, bottle type and collection location. For larger batches from retail and catering outlets in Poznan we organise collection with our own transport.
How often do you update purchasing prices?
We update metal purchasing prices regularly according to current market quotations. You will find the price list with the last update date in the “What we buy” section. Purchasing of bottles, crates and kegs is priced individually – call for the current rate.
